Project Overview

Advanced Engineering Group delivered the full mechanical design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning support for a new inlet pumping station pipework system. The project involved the installation of high-grade stainless-steel pipework, integrated mechanical flow components, and structural support systems, delivered in a live operational environment.

Our scope covered the complete lifecycle of the installation — from engineering design and fabrication through to on-site lifting, mechanical installation, testing, and handover. The works were carefully planned to ensure system compatibility with existing infrastructure, long-term serviceability, and safe operation.

The installation was executed using our own roto telehandler and certified lifting operators, enabling precise handling and positioning of large stainless-steel assemblies. Selected pipe sections were insulated and aluminium-cladded where required, while remaining sections were left exposed for operational visibility and ease of inspection.

Project Outcome

The project successfully delivered a robust and fully integrated inlet pumping station pipework system, comprising stainless-steel pipework supported on engineered bracket structures and connected to essential flow-control equipment. Selective insulation and cladding ensured thermal stability and personnel protection where required, while exposed stainless-steel sections allow for straightforward inspection and ongoing maintenance.

The use of in-house lifting equipment and skilled personnel enabled efficient installation, precise control of works, and safe execution throughout the project lifecycle.
