Project Overview
Advanced Engineering Group carried out mechanical and electrical installation works as part of a pump replacement project at Tobermaclugg Wastewater Treatment Works in Lucan, Dublin.
Working in partnership with TES, the project involved the removal and disconnection of two existing sewage pumps, followed by the installation and connection of two new replacement pumps.
The electrical installation included the supply and installation of new SWA power cabling and BMS control cabling, together with new Unistrut-supported cable tray containment. All SWA cables were fully glanded and terminated to provide secure and reliable electrical connections.
New Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) were also installed and wired, with all associated equipment and cabling connected and integrated into the existing electrical control panel.
Following installation, full electrical testing and inspection were carried out to verify that the new equipment and electrical systems were correctly installed, safely connected and operating as intended.
