Electrical Panel Building & Off-Site Assembly

Project Overview

This project involved the design, assembly, and testing of electrical control panels within our workshop environment before delivery to site. By building the panels off-site, our team was able to ensure a high level of quality control, consistent workmanship, and precise installation of electrical and control components. Each panel was constructed within durable stainless steel enclosures, providing protection against corrosion and the demanding conditions commonly encountered across industrial and infrastructure environments.

The off-site build process allowed for structured cable management, accurate component placement, and comprehensive testing prior to installation. Panels were designed to accommodate a range of electrical equipment including power distribution components, transformers, and communication infrastructure. Data patch panels were integrated where required to provide reliable connections between field devices, control systems, and monitoring equipment, ensuring dependable communication for automation and remote monitoring applications.

Transformers were installed within the panels where voltage conversion or electrical isolation was required, with careful consideration given to load capacity, protection systems, and compliance with relevant electrical standards. Ventilation and thermal management solutions were also incorporated where necessary, including filtered ventilation units and cooling fans, to maintain safe operating temperatures for sensitive electrical equipment.

Before leaving the workshop, each panel was fully labelled, inspected, and electrically tested to confirm correct operation and compliance with required standards. This approach ensured that the panels arrived on site ready for efficient installation and integration into the wider electrical system.
