Project Overview

Advanced Cabling Contractors delivered the installation of five EV charging units at the Pennys Regional Distribution Centre in Newbridge. The project supported the transition toward electrified fleet operations, providing charging infrastructure for both city lorries and factory forklifts.

The scope included the installation of high-capacity generator supply cables, termination works, and the mounting and commissioning of EV charging units. All works were carried out within a live distribution centre environment, requiring careful coordination of electrical shutdowns to ensure safe and compliant system integration.

Power cabling was installed, glanded, and terminated at both ends, with all electrical works tested and documented in accordance with industry standards. As-installed marked-up drawings were provided to reflect the completed installation.
