Project Overview
Advanced Cabling Contractors delivered critical power infrastructure works at Dungannon Waste Water Treatment Works, including the installation of a new NIE supply, formation of a temporary generator cable joint, and the pulling and termination of new power cables to the MCC panel.
The works were undertaken within a live water treatment facility, requiring careful coordination and a planned NIE shutdown to safely integrate the new supply. The project enhanced power resilience and upgraded the site’s electrical distribution, ensuring reliable operation of key process equipment.
All cabling works were completed in accordance with industry standards, with full glanding, termination, and testing carried out to confirm system integrity prior to handover.
