Advanced Engineering Group was pleased to recently attend the Careers Fair at Sacred Heart College, Omagh, providing students with an opportunity to learn more about careers within the engineering industry.
The event brought together local businesses, organisations and education providers, giving Year 11–14 students the opportunity to explore different career pathways, including further education, apprenticeships and employment.
Representing Advanced Engineering Group on the day were Donna Mullin and Shane McGirr, who were on hand to speak with students about the range of career opportunities available within the company and the wider engineering sector.
Events like these provide a valuable opportunity to engage with young people, share industry knowledge and highlight the different routes into engineering, from apprenticeships and graduate opportunities to specialist technical and professional roles.
At Advanced Engineering Group, we recognise the importance of encouraging the next generation to explore careers in engineering and helping young people understand the skills and opportunities available within the industry.
We would like to thank Sacred Heart College for the invitation and everyone who took the time to speak with our team throughout the event.
