Project Overview

Advanced Cabling Contractors delivered solar-panel cabling works within a live chicken processing facility for Western Brand NI Ltd, supporting the integration of renewable energy infrastructure into the factory’s electrical network.

The project involved the installation of both power and communication cabling via underground duct routes and internal cable tray systems, requiring strict adherence to site hygiene and safety standards within a regulated food production environment. All cabling was routed, secured, and protected to prevent mechanical or environmental damage, while maintaining a clean and organised installation suitable for inspection and long-term maintenance.

Terminations were completed at inverters, isolators, the G99 panel, and the main switchboard using appropriate connectors and strain-relief methods. Final connections to the main switchboard were carried out during a planned Saturday shutdown to ensure minimal disruption to factory operations. All installations were clearly labelled, tested, and prepared for commissioning to ensure safe and reliable system integration.
