Project Overview

This project involved a solar farm installation within Ballymena WWTW. AEG Cable Contractors installed multiple cables to the inverters over a significant distance. The cables were installed using a winch system, then fully glanded, terminated, and tested upon completion. Additional SWA and Cat 6 SWA cables were installed to the main switch room to support the PV installation.

The installation utilised a combination of existing duct infrastructure and newly excavated open trench. All excavation works were carried out by our own team.
