We are now seeking a driven and detail-oriented Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team.

Role Overview

As a Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of M&E packages across a variety of projects. You will ensure that costs are controlled, value is maximized, and risk is minimized. This is a critical role in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets for mechanical and electrical elements
  • Review project specifications and drawings to identify risks and opportunities
  • Procure and manage subcontractor and supplier packages
  • Carry out monthly valuations, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts
  • Analyze and negotiate contract variations and claims
  • Support commercial project reporting and provide accurate financial insight
  • Liaise closely with project managers, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing, codes, and regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, installations, and pricing
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Excellent numerical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in measurement tools, estimating software, and MS Office Suite
  • Familiarity with NEC, JCT, or similar contract forms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
