Project Overview
This project was to design and install electrical busbar system on three apartment blocks in Belfast. There were 6 runs of busbar, at first the buildings were scanned using the Trimble 3d scanning system. We then designed the drawings to establish a route that prevents clashes with existing services.
Schneider busbar was then installed as per manufacturer specifications, ensuring that all busbar is aligning and ensuring correct phase sequence and spacing between conductors to prevent short circuits.
160amp Tap-off Isolators where then fixed at the designated position on the busbar trunking system to supply each NIE panel. All systems were then tested to comply with regulations.
